Angular 2 Developer - Integrate Mongo DB with Wordpress Site

We are looking to integrate our database built in Mongo DB through node and angular with our Wordpress site. We have an API for our Wordpress site, and we want to use the API and integrate it with our Mongo DB. We want to be able to update and publish posts through Mongo DB into our WP site. The person will also need to add some additional fields and sections to our MongoDB page.s
Details:
The code base is hosted on Gitlab. The backend is a node app, that is deployed through heroku’s toolbeit the frontend is angular2, we make a production build through angular cli (ng build)
and then we gzip the distribution folder and deploy that via heroku’s toolbeit
