Anti OCX faking

Ok.. let me start from the beginning. I want to sell an ActiveX control which of course, other developers can use. The ActiveX Control will allow users to add trialware functionality to their software (its like ActiveLock). There are 2 ways a cracker can bypasss that system. The first and most problematic one we've fixed. One of the more simpler ones has left us on a dust trail. What many crackers do is replace my ActiveX Control's ocx file with a fake one. This fake ocx would give wrong information to my customer's software. Faking can easily be done as the cracker can easily find out what all properties and methods exist in my original ocx. So now I want some way to prevent this to happen. I'm looking for an innovative coder who could solve this problem permanently. I'm not going to pay more than 50$ - 75$ so keep the idea down to earth. It should be a feasible and implementable solution. My original idea was some way to provide the customer with a function that would verify if the ocx file is original. But obviously... that code would also be accessible by crackers and they could easily figure out a solution for that.
