Optimise Wordpress Integration in Magento Shop

Within the Magento shop [login to view URL] I have a few static pages with contents from Wordpress, e.g. [login to view URL]
Currently I use the WP extension MageEnabler to combine Wordpress & Magento and did the following:
> I manually set up the page header in Wordpress theme with file embedding (CSS, JS) etc. more or less similar to Magento
> Wordpress pulls the page head incl. Navigation etc. and also the footer from Magento
Works fine except 2 issues:
> Logged in status (from Magento) is not available on Wordpress pages
> Items in cart not available on Wordpress pages (usually shown on all Magento pages in the upper right as notification)
Needed project setup:
> I have a similar test environment where you can optimise/fix.
> Afterwards I need a short description to fix on live environment on my own.
Communication via Skype (english) is key requirement as well as enough Magento references.
