This should be an easy project for a programmer who knows what they are doing.
Basically, I need a standard e-commerce site to sell my printing-on-demand services (business cards, letterheads, flyer printing, etc). The customer has to be able to select various options like paper size, type of paper, color options, and different quantities.
In fact, to make this very easy... I prefer to mimic zooprinting . com...(just refer to their process)... how the categories on the side appear (but I'll only need 7-10 max probably) and how the options are designed once you click on a category like "flyers" for example. Notice how it asks for product (flyer)... then size... then once they choose size it makes new options appear without the page reloading (like paper, color, turnaround time). It would be nice if all these options were easily manageable by me so that I can change them at any time. I'm also open to opensource.
Also, what makes this different from a regular ecommerce site selling other products is that I need them to upload their artwork at some point in the purchasing process (preferrably after they pay). That's about the major difference. Otherwise, I'd think this would be similar to selling clothes and asking for size, color, and brand.
Basically:
1) Categories of my services
2) Subcategories, if needed.
3) Unlimited options to ask them (size, paper, color, quantity, turnaround time)... ajax-based way the options appear preferred but not requied. see zoo [url removed, login to view]'s categories for example.
4) Upload of their work after they pay or once logged in (jpg, pdf, zip, all major attacments).
5) Ability to pay (basic ecommerce... create account and/or log-in).
To keep costs down, if some of the functionality is aleady available via open source, I would be willing to go that route.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
