The reason why we are not able to login in to the site is because the site is running on PHP 5.4, for security reasons the server needed to be updated to PHP 5.6 or higher so the scripts on the site need to updated to be compatible with php version 5.6 or higher.

I did add a force php handler in your .htaccess and it was not successful since the server is now compatible with php 5.6 .
