I have a multiuser parcel booking site developed for PHP 8.0 (core PHP, no framework used) that I need to be upgraded to the latest PHP version i.e., 8.3.0, and get the site's code properly cleaned up and all dependencies checked.
The developer needs to update any/all the deprecated codes of the site to smoothly run on the latest PHP version.
The developer may use tools like Rector ([login to view URL]) for upgrading and Refactoring the code, Renovate ([login to view URL]) for dependency updates, and PHP CS Fixer ([login to view URL]) to fix PHP Coding Standards issues.
Also check and fix any code-related issues, vulnerabilities (like PHP Code Injection, etc), or junk codes that are present on the site to enhance performance.
Once the developer is done, he/she shall send me back the updated work in a .zip/.rar archive format, and I'll test the site in the latest PHP version on my local host before ending the project (which will take at least 2 days).
If any issues are detected during testing, I'll report them in chat, and the developer shall send back the updated/fixed work again, and the testing will be halted until the fixed version is sent, which will add time to the testing phase.
The budget and time for this project are clearly mentioned above. Kindly DO NOT apply if you cannot deliver in the mentioned duration and budget. Although I am flexible to all reasonable requests (for both budget and time) that may arise towards properly getting the site in order and making the site ready for immediate deployment.
If the submitted work is found to be working fine in the latest PHP and no issues are found, the project will be ended.
