Build additional features (version 2) for Geo-Location post app (Built in native Android).
This application allows users to create posts on map that appear there on certain date and time. All the other users are able to see those posts as flags on a map and add to Personal List “My List”.
Now we need to expand functionality and have following features added to the app (+necessary adjustments to DB’s and Server). I will provide access to my server to copy existing DB and make test one there as well.
As very Big part of this update is following user I need somebody who is very familiar with designing good user relations.
New features to Post Screen:
1. Implement feature to add image to posts from camera or gallery
2. In existing version pots contain only Time, Title, Description and Location.
New Features to “My List” tab:
3. Profile at top of tab showing profile image, User name, Icon to start follow (if on other users profile) how many people following and are followed
4. Function to Follow/unfollow users
5. User (following/ followers) List screen.
6. Re-Style card view (Now some cards/ posts will contain image if it was uploaded along the post)
7. Auto position (auto scroll) to today’s date on “My List” (when tab loaded)
8. Show post on map. (pop-up screen showing only this post on map)
To create a new tab called “Friends List”:
9. It will contain today and future posts/cards that Friends (followed people) have created or added to their “My List” (also will have very similar xml layout as for “My List”)
New Features to “Discover” tab
10. Add another default filter (additional to current date and time filter): Only posts from FB registered users and friends (people followed) are visible on “Discover” Tab.
11. Add Friend post Filter button. When activated -map Shows only posts of friends.
12. Flawlessly transfer existing users, posts (and other user content) from existing DB to the new DB.
Time for development: 1-2 weeks +1 week for debugging.
The budget for this version is still very tight (tops around £1K) but I need very stable and well designed update. This will be excellent add-on to your portfolio.
This app also will require many sequencing updates so I would prefer if this would turn into long lasting cooperation.
