Estimating individual or household level population and travelling characteristics through crowdsourced/open source data

I want someone to help with putting an idea into action. I want to use some open source or crowdsourced source of data to estimate an individual level population of a city in the US. For example, the estimate should show how many people live in an area, their age estimates and how they travel etc.
Experience with similar research will be highly preferred.
