Our OSHC centre went through a change of management software provider recently. The previous software provider was handling the maintenance of our website which has been dormant since the change. Here is the URL of the previous website: [login to view URL]
We need a new website to be built to serve the families of the school and the community. We wish to make our website stand out and attract new families to our centre. Here is the URL to a website from another OSHC centre that we like: [login to view URL]
Desired functionality for the website:
- Have a beginner-friendly UI for admins to push regular updates to the website. These updates would include things like adding new "content" (in the form of text, images, videos, files and links), archiving old "content" and making design adjustments to the site.
- Other pages reachable from the homepage in nested dropdown menus
- Buttons at the top of pages to navigate to specific sections within that page (if the page is long)
Desired qualities for the website:
- Be easy to navigate for any new users
- pages should be uncluttered; we would prefer a page to be longer with a scroll bar rather than having everything jammed in.
We would probably want the site to be built on Wix or Squarespace.
The sitemap will likely end up being very small (less than 20 pages). I have attached a rough idea of what different pages we would want and what content we would want on each page.
As part of this project, we would also like some sort of handover to the admins who will take over site maintenance.
We are looking for quotes for the project.
