I found these code samples (see attached text files) that works in VBScript and C#. It works with letters and numbers, it's not working for symbols like "@" or "," commas. I can't figure out how to make this work for other characters. I'm planning on using this for simple query string values obfuscation or cookie values obfuscation. But need something that works in both languages so I can use it in .net C# and also in classic ASP / VBScript. So if you can provide a different example that works for all characters up to 255 in length, I'm fine with that too.

I have a very basic video upload script that I created. Currently when the video is uploaded, we tell the user success and then a cron job takes care of processing the video, creating a thumbnail using FFMPEG and then the user is alerted that their video is ready. I need to allow the users to choose a different thumbnail for their video if they wish. They should be able to choose from other frames of their video, and/or upload a custom thumbnail for their video, similar to on Youtube.

I want it to play with the same frame rate than the initial video. Therefore, I need an adaption of these lines to get the same frame rate than in the initial gif. Part 2: I would also need a script converting a mov to gif. Also here the framerate should be the same.
