I'd really love to critique your novel for you, especially since it is at least partly about mythology. I am a fan of all things mythical, having read over 6-7 series on the genre, from Cassandra's Mortal instrument, to all Rick Riordan's series (I'm currently reading book 3 in the trials of Apollo series). The beginning of a book is the most important part of the process, it’s the opening chapters where a reader will decide if they keep on reading, and where an agent/publisher will decide if their company should take on the risk. So it’s wise to get as much work done on the start of your book. I am a published author and editor of a literary magazine; I am in charge of reviews so I read a lot of books and decide which ones are fitting for review, so I have experience on a variety of genres. Plus personally I have an interest in reading and I’m up to date with the markets; I advise you about what readers/critics are interested in.
