We have done similar verification systems for Nuclear Plants and minimum cost was $150k + expenses. Not positive that we can do it for $150k but it will be done professionally and will work.

It is an interesting program, that I have already done something similar in Dlphi a few years ago, but now I would prefer to do it in C# (over .NET Platform), while, of course, VC++ is also possible, but might take more time.

I have started working on it. These are the things I am taken into consideration : 1) VB front end - user will give one file to be validated 2) database ( mdb , oracle ) - all the finger print files will be stored in the database 3) finger print validation logic in C++ The program will read through the database all the .bmp files one by one and compare it with the file that user has given. If you want to give more information on this, please mail me. In the end if you like what i have done , you can purchase it with your customizations being included in the project.
