Editor of children's story

Hi, I'd love to edit your children's story. I have worked on several - through this site and through other avenues. Some of them were rhyming stories. I have also worked extensively with other kinds of poetry. I teach poetry. I'm a university-educated native English speaker. Thank you for providing your story so that we can see exactly what is involved. If chosen for your project, I would like to see the illustrations as well, or at least some of them. I can see that the tense needs to be made consistent and there are some words that need changing, e.g.' "dispair" and "sparred." I would copy the text into a Word document and use the Track Changes tool so that you can see the changes I make. I have been a copy editor for more than 10 years, three of these on the Freelancer platform, and currently I am the copy editor for a number of entities, as listed on my profile. If you look at my profile, you will see that all my reviews are good ones. I have been a member of a children's writing critique group for six years, some of my Freelancer projects have involved editing children's stories, and I have written some children's stories myself, including rhyming ones.
