Excel Macro Project that Extracts Make and Model from Text and compares to Table of Values with Aliases

I need someone to code a macro to look at a Field with information --and figure out the manufacturer and subsequent Model...both manufacturer and models have different names and aliases that will need to be read from a table. The table will need to be able to be updated -- a normal vlookup or match function will not work as logic is : Search text for manufacturer -- or manufacturer alias(example General Motors or GMC) and once present look for exact match to model or model alias..some of the models are similar-- example : Citation II or CItation III -- current logic is stopping at Citation II. Once make and model are done then will need a simple lookup of table to show category. I am also willing to have this completed in access but would prefer excel. Data is based on aircraft types.. send me your bid and skills and I will send sample data for you to review.
