Website Design for School website

Hi I am looking for someone with great web site design skills to build a website for a school. I have a demo up but the design is crap. I will also like to add that the interface is not fully flash based but should have flash animation as part of the header. This is my first time here so I am really new at this. I am a web developer but I am not a good graphics person hence the drabness of the interface. On this project, my main focus is on interface. I have some pictures of the pupils of the school that should be used on the site. I am looking at lovely interfaces as well as some flash animation. My emphasis will be on speed in the site loading (no heavy flash or graphics) and a lovely interface layout. There will be no server side scripting whatsoever. So those offering PHP, dot net and the likes should not bother. The site will not have any kind of programming, its flat HTML site. There is no CMS or managed content. The number of pages does not matter because the content is already available on the site. I just need to change the look and feel but the content is the still the same. A demo version of the site is available at http://laraday.5gigs.net. I have pictures of pupils of the school that can be used also the school has a logo. I don’t know if I can get a clear enough one to use on the site or it has to be re-created by you guys but the school already has a logo. The scope of the project will be Design two or three interfaces for me to choose from Convert the interface to a template bearing in mind the already existing content and how it will fit Integrate/add some form of flash animation for aesthetics Use the content from the main site to create the pages Provide me with the Photoshop PSDs and the flash files in case I need to make modifications for the site. From the research I have made regarding similar projects, it shouldn’t cost more than $100. Pls know that cost is also a critical factor because I am really on a low budget on this one. So, all those bidding from $150 above should either rework their bid or take it that they are not interested. For those that have sample sites to show, please limit them to three links and let them be your best because I will just view two and move on. I will also show preference for sites with fast loading flash animations. However, I don’t want sites that are totally flash.
