Need to migrate windows/linux servers and applications from one domain to other domain using Chef. some servers are in cloud and rest are on prem. Current setup: VRA is doing everything from infra provisioning, app config, onboarding to monitoring, etc. Currently using AWS and Azure, VMware is in Cloud. currently has apps – Linux and Windows primarily, AIX. in it there are 2 versions of windows, multiple mssql versions and Oracle linux. 80/20 mix of Window/Linux ( 15/5 Linux vs AIX [180 LPARS] ) VRA/VRO using as the infrastructure automation tool. Future state will include both VMWare, AWS, and other appliances.
