Do not you want to Migrate those features which are not supporting with new iOS version rather than start to development from scratch?. There is a possible way to update those Frameworks/Libraries to iOS 10/11 standards. Whereas most of the System frameworks as well as 3rd party libraries has been expanding with launching their new version, such as EKEventKit, Amazon SDK, Firebase SDK, Payment Libraries(iZettle, Stripe, Paypal etc), etc. If I can get the source code I could determine those APIs/Features that are only available on prior to iOS 10/11 and create a documentation accordingly at least. Or it will be great if you could specify those features which are not working on new iOS environment and we can go for a check whether their updated version is ready to work with older app or not. But, on the other hand it can be said that, that would not be a permanent fix. As we firmly believe that the new applications should use Swift due it's supportiveness, stableness and market is going. Hence one day will be come when the app will not supports with any features from it. Therefore in that case we should create a fresh iOS app using Swift V4.0. It will be great if you can provide us a build/.ipa of a existing iOS app/Android app. So we can mapping that functionality into new development. We have all type of mobile devices to supports any older app. Along with this, it will help you too for your further testing purpose.
