We are looking for a java applet that periodically updates to display statistical data returned from a customized url. This would be a very simple applet that will replace an existing html table which is currently generated by a java servlet and jsp. The idea is to have font color, font size, background color and refresh rate to be configurable within the html applet code while the actual field and field value information to populate the applet will be supplied by parsing the results returned from a url. For development, we will provide a sample page that would be similar to what would be returned during production of the applet. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): b) A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. The picture is an example of the way we would like the applet to look You can ignore the "Hide" button in the top right corner. The information in the picture consists of the data that will be retrieved from the url. The format of that data will be somewhat similar to a properties file. We will not be using xml as we want the size of the applet to be as small as possible and that means not loading any non-necessary third-party libraries.
