Create Photoshop Script to exclude layers with specific name

Hi - I can write the required script that toggles the visibility of all layers that contain the custom keyword which the script will ask you for . Let me know if you have any questions. I have written scripts for adobe software before like flash and aftereffects for my own use so I am sure of my ability to write the required PS script.

Hey there! :) Automatically excluding layers in Photoshop should be relatively straightforward. I had thrown together a few scripts of my own back when I was trying my hand at some design work, so I can certainly understand wanting to automate tedious tasks like that, especially if it's something you're doing all the time. Hi, If i understand well u have photoshop file with various layers in it. And u want script which will exclude all layers with particular name, right? Yes this is possible to do with script. Script can have some small user interface where u can input name of layer u want to exclude. So when u start script it will show that user interface where u can input name of layer one or more which u do not want. After that script can save that in format what u want or similar. Generally I usually use Javascript for this, it run in back so it will be good for speed. I will send you detail explanation how to use that Script file and how to made some changes in the code if you want to do that. I assume that you already have experience with this kind of work. And if you are not do not worry you only need to upload javascript in Adobe programs and I run and for that u need a few seconds and couple of mouse clicks, after that script will run and u can do something more creative.. I have an experience of over seven years of work in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobate, Adobe Lightroom, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel..), JavaScript associated with Adobe app, Python, Perl ...
