I have gone through the attached excel stuff. I would suggest to create an executable to replicate all functionality present in excel .It would have modern(Material design) and user friendly GUI. I have recently done a Hotel booking application for windows that has similar functionality 1- Motel registration -->New guest registration -->Existing guest information retrieval -->Tax calculation 2-Weekly/Daily/Monthly calendar would be provided 3-DB -->Needs to be discussed to clarify a bit. 4-Room definition -->Will be done 5-Lists -->Will be done Looking forward to have a chat with you to discuss further.

You describe everything but have not mentioned about a checking is the room is free or not. But I got it we need to add a Status on Room Info table so that we can capture the room is occupied or not. Not sure you are using Calendar for this purpose or not. According to my understanding: 1. Admin needs a Section Where Admin can Setup Rooms and which needs to kept at Room Info Table. 2. Then Front Office will use Registration Form. We will give an option to search user by Mobile Number. If Visitor is Old Visitor then with this Mobile search it will populate his/her records. Else Front Office will fill the records. 3. Its needs to Print a Copy for Visitors with Pre-built Layout. 4. Admin should have option to generate report. Questions: 1. Cant see an option to book Multiple Rooms, any thought? 2. I think future booking should be allowed, correct? 3. List table is not clear to me. 4. What is the difference between Room Rate and Paid Upto? 5. Better to discuss on Quickbook and tax calculation part once. I will wait for your message to discuss in details. I have extensive experience in building applications for checking in customers. I have an application built in C# that I sell to computer stores that lets customers check in their computer, and then keep track of its status as it goes through the repair process, then automatically sends the data to QuickBooks for billing and prints out the receipt. I do have a question about this. Firstly, the database would have to be hosted somewhere. Ideally you would want to host the database on a remote hosting site such as AWS, but it is possible to host it locally (data loss is less likely with a remote database). Is there a preference on how the database is hosted? I am very experienced in this specific type of application, especially if a C# application works for your needs, and hope you'll consider me. I'd be more than happy to provide some samples of my work if you'd like to see.
