Simple Ajax Project

I need a simple demo that will do the following: 1) An HTML will have a text box and a button. The user will enter a stock symbol like "IBM" 2) Using jquery/ajax, a PHP function will be called that will get a quote from this URL: [login to view URL][symbol] 3) The PHP code will parse through the results and return the data as a JSON javascript object to the HTML page where it will be presented to the user like this: symbol=IBM bid=12.2 ask=13.4 etc....
