A Russian-speaking pub quiz in London is looking to move to a new venue (a pub or restaurant). We hold our games on weekdays (currently Mondays), 7-10pm. It is required to find a venue that we will pick (or max 5 options fitting the criteria). Our requirements to the venue are as follows: - Within 10 mins on foot from a first zone London underground station - Ability to place up to 80-100 people, shaped as 15-20 tables for up to 6 people - The venue should be provided for free (considering that we will be attracting people to the restaurant) or only for a small consideration - Sound system (so that we could play our own sound and music from a laptop) - Good light (people will write at the tables) - Stable internet connection (either 4G or wi-fi) - Tables should be normal dining tables for sitting - not for standing or coffee tables - Food and drinks should be served by waiters (it is in their interest: people will not order much food if they will need to go to the bar) - Toilets and good air conditioning The desirable features include: - Microphone provided - Screen or screens visible for every table in the room - A reasonably priced menu with good selection of food and drinks - A cosy interior (the link to what we consider a perfect design: [login to view URL])

Hi, I just came across your advert and I think I am the ideal person for this project for various reasons. I live in London and have lived here for over 20 years. I also used to live next to Zone 1; Islington, for 13 years until I moved to where I currently am living; Walthamstow, which is in East London Zone 3. I used to go out quite a bit in the area; pubs and clubs, in the time I lived there hence I have a good idea about the type of pubs in that location. The information you have provided so far in your advert is quite detailed; thanks for that by the way, hence it has already given me an idea of how to go about finding what pubs would meet your requirements. The reason I've quoted you the price for the project; (£110 plus £12.22 Freelancer.com fee) is because I also intend on going to have a look at the locations I have selected to see them for myself (after the initial research and phone calls) as traveling into Zone 1 is a little pricey. That way I can be confident in the list of 5 options I provide you to choose from. I will also provide pictures of the pubs I visit if you would like that; so you know I actually did visit them. It will take some hard negotiation for them to provide the space for free, but I shall do what I can and they most likely will reduce the pricing as there will be many potential clients purchasing food and drinks during the pub quiz events so that will balance things out.
