Customization of Desktop Operating system - OpenSUSE

Aim: To organize building process of customized Desktop Operating system based on the Linux Open Source Operating system, including further support of releases and updates. First stage: Issue a demonstration version of customized Desktop Operating system for potential clients. Second stage: Setup of our own repositories for building process and further updates of the operating system installed on the clients computers. The preferred Linux Open source system: openSUSE Leap 42.3 The preferred building environment: openSUSE-KIWI Image System version 9.11.10 or higher The general requirements for the first version of the customized Desktop Operating system: 1. Operating system should have some predefined set of applications, system modules and tools (full list of the applications and system modules will be given later) 2. Build a demonstration Live CD/DVD with util for its installation on the desktop computer including BIOS/UEFI, 32bit/x64 versions. 3. Desktop environment: KDE Plasma 5 4. By default, all users should have some predefined system environment including: a. Windows decorations, Icon and Color Themes, Desktop theme, Wallpaper settings. b. Application menu settings, including Start Icon custom image c. System tray settings d. Screen locking settings e. Cursor and keyboard settings f. Sound theme settings g. Widget Styles and Behavior h. Some Widgets settings i. Some application settings (for example, Icon Theme for LibreOffice, Start page for FireFox, etc.) j. Some other default users’ desktop settings. 5. Customization of GNU Grub 2 (Menu items, Logon screen, etc.) 6. Customization of SDDM manager (Logon screen, Logo, etc.) 7. Everything in Operating system, utils, applications, etc. should be in Russian (just if it is possible to do it with settings without development) 8. Make short manuals for the building process and how to change all customizations that are done in the system. Result of the first stage is: Documentation and building environment config files. Please reply to me with timelines and word - 'possible'. I will not read applications without 'possible' Regards
