I'm a solo traveller and I was on overseas or outside my home country when this pandemic happens. I want to share my experienced how I was able to return home crossing four countries without being infected with COVID-19. I went to Singapore first week of February until March 1 and cross over to Kuala Lumpur until the second week of March. On the third week of March, I return to Singapore and stays there until March 27 until I decided to go back to Philippines. All these countries are in total lockdown during this time already so I took the last International flight from Singapore via Indonesia to Manila.I stay in Jakarta airport for 13 hours while waiting for my flight to Manila. I arrived in Manila and undergo home quarantine for 14 days after testing negative of COVID-19. I follow every protocols and health advices from W.H.O. in order to avoid this disease. Every after touching anything I washed my hands for 20 seconds and or apply hand sanitiser or alcohol. In every airports I pass by, I see to it that I didn't move to any location where I am and make sure to sanitised the bench or chair where I am setting. Or when at home, every time I bought groceries I washed it with soap and water every items I bought from the supermarket like eggs, vegetables, canned goods and I even I spray alcohol and sanitized my bread container before opening it. I drink a lot of water, take vitamin c and multivitamins and do exercise every other day even inside the house. I sleep 6 to 8 hours everyday, eat a lot of vegetables and make sure everything inside the house are clean. Every time I went outside and make sure that I have a mask and an alcohol or hand gel with me and upon returning home I immediately took a shower and put those used clothes directly to the washing machine. I avoid touching my eyes, mouth and nose as an added safety measures. whenever I feel itchy on that part I make sure that my hands are sanitized. You can't deny that during this new normal, you felt depressed and to overcome it, you have to make yourself busy by doing something new, like discovering your hidden talents. examine yourself what you like to do, such as sketching, blogging, video editing or simple photography or anything that can make yourself busy. Try to reach out to your family, friends and tell them story about you and ask them how are they doing. also don't just stay in one corner of your home, try yoga, Zumba and other indoor activities that will make yourself forget the current situation. reading or watching inspirational stories or even do some cooking, baking or experimenting some menus in the kitchen is another way of overcoming depression during this pandemic. Don't just sit and tell yourself that you cannot make it, instead encourage and push yourself to move, to do something because once you started of doing something new you will just realised that you are enjoying what you are doing. This is the right time to discover your hidden talent especially we have a lot of time spending at home than the outside. Always remember that this too shall pass and nothing is permanent.
