Long-term, Summary-Critique Writer & Business Strategist

Our company is executeBOOKS and we provide entrepreneurs implementation guides of the top business and self-development books they can read in less than one hour to increase business and personal growth. We believe entrepreneurs should connect with their curiosity and grow towards their unique calling by exploring, reading, and implementing more books. We are here to bridge that gap. We are looking for a sophisticated writer who takes unmatched ownership over their content to continue our efforts in becoming the unquestionable authority in summary-critiques and implementation guides for business and self-development books. Specifically, we are looking for a disciplined writer who can synthesize complicated ideas, extract core insights of each chapter and the overall book, and write an original, succinct and compelling narrative-critique. The writer will also create a guided journaling section and work with a business strategist to create an implementation plan. We want our readers so enamored with your content that they crave your implementation guides. The workflow is one book per month and can increase to two/three depending on your ability to handle the workload – we are looking for depth of understanding, not breath. We expect a turnaround time of 7 - 10 days to create the summary-critique, journaling, and implementation sections of the book we assign. The content output range will be between 3,000 and 5,000 words. We have a unilateral focus on the quality of the writing and the writer’s ability to make each word count. We are a client-centric company where the reading experience comes first in all decision-making. To apply for the position, writer must meet the following criteria: • Takes unmatched ownership of their work product and is relentless in pushing our vision and mission through their writing • Has mastery of the English language – you are a master/native speaker/writer • Writing skills include but are not limited to: perfect spelling, grammar and punctuation, and overall mechanics, versatility in word choice, voice and writing style • Ability to fully comprehend and synthesize complex ideas • Looks forward to challenges and is not timid of new features our clients may want • Has worked in a team setting with several stakeholders and milestones • Has exceptional organizational skills • Meets all deadlines and communicates any unforeseen circumstances • Asks questions when something is unclear • Looks forward to business training and workshops • Has extreme attention to detail and has a low tolerance for mindless mistakes • Communicates succinctly and in a timely manner We will select an initial pool of potential writers. Then, we will conduct a simple online assessment to make sure your writing skills qualify for the role. Lastly, we will have one round of personal interviews to make sure there is a cultural fit.
