What an exciting, worthwhile and impactful project to share these stories of the human experience! Very powerful message and a testimony to the strength of the human spirit. I have produced, mixed and mastered many songs that have had radio-play all over South Africa and garnered thousands of views online. I have also done many voice-overs for various commercial projects and theatre pieces. I saw the book on Amazon is 165 pages and it usually takes about 25-30 pages per hour of audio recording so the overall listening time of the book should come to a bit over 5 hours. The 5 hours of listening with an additional hour to 2 hours of work on each hour listened and then the formatting and editing will come to around 20+ hours of work so I think this rate is fair. I do think I will be a great fit for this project, and I look forward to hearing from you and being a part of this project and assisting in the quality of the end-product. Hi Rachelle how are you! I'm super interested on helping you with this marvelous task! For starters, I'm an audio book recording engineer and post production expert. I've been 2 years and delievered over 30 audiobooks for Penguin Random House Audio, Saga Egmont and more!. I know each part of the production process and can asure you, since you've already recorded the narration, understanding your preferences on pace and sound design style aspects we can move forward in an optimal way. I use Pro Tools as my main software. If your narrator has particular noises (smacks, clicks, nose sounds) I can take care of that. Also, i'm a trained narration-edit style audio engineer. So It's not going to sound choppy as a commercial and will be carefully edited to sound as natural as possible. (Magician style editing). If it's possible, I'd like to know the raw audio duration to set the delivery dates as accurrate as possible. I'm very intrigued by reading your briefing notes on the Chasing Rainbows collection. I hope I can participate in you project and elevate it into a true magical audio experience.
