Overview Software which enables a PC to act as an externally triggered video disk recorder. The recorder is controlled by software which records avi files in a certain order and into a pre-defined directory structure. The system is designed to record personalised video messages for subsequent use. This requires the recording of personalised message openings followed by the recording of several different messages. Hardware is also required in the form or a remote control connected via USB to the computer to start recording, stop recording and erase recording.

We had done a similar thing, PC acting as a big juke box eith a remote control which could record,play pause, it had a search functin with a small lcd screen,but that part was not finished.
