Based on existing API, I need a coder to create a small application. The application should be able to connect to local hosted API, login with userid / password and fetch product information and customer information. All data should be saved in XML in specific folder on pc. The application should have a small GUI to enter: API Administration API Username API Password Local folder And it needs 4 buttons: - Export all products - Export updated products - Export all customers - Export updated customers Full toolkit with examples available upon request. There already are two applications available in (i guess .net or .vbs) that provide the tools and details to connect with the API. The first script is outdated and needed a new version update, that's why the second script was written. Unfortunately the coder of it seems to be dissapeared, so I'm having a hard time to get the final adjustments done. Deadline was this Friday, but I would like to start asap. But we can add new features + extra work for new milestone next week. I'm looking for a long term relationship with a reliable Windows developer. - VB6 code + C++ code available for review. Current .exe available to, can be decompiled according to last coder.

Hi I'd like to help you on this. I understand source code of the previous application(s) is (partially) available for the client side and we'd need to connect to the API and invoke the listed methods to get all products or customers or only the updated ones to a local folder in pre-defined XML format. I'm assuming this is an integrational need, ie you have an application that will then consume the produced XML. I will analyse the existing applications and source code and if at all possible, will create a C# application to fulfill these requirements. I'll provide skype id upon being awarded so we can discuss/look at what you have now and agree all details prior to starting work; will then do the development and testing and complete the project within 5 working days. Additionally I will be available later on for future developments etc. Current bid factors in some uncertainty and having to spend time figuring things out; the development itself is not a major part of it. This project doesn't sound very difficult at all. I've been working as a .NET developer for almost 8 years; should be very easy to complete if I understand the requirements correctly; you need to connect to an api, query data, and then save to xml.
