Hi, I think I would be able to help you with this project. For starters, I'm a PhD in Signal Processing (completed 2019), and have worked with algorithms involving sequence detection on large time series. I've had experience in optimizing the speed of the algorithms via parallelization of calculation tasks. I mainly work with MATLAB up to the research level, but have used Python in teaching (mainly machine learning using scikit-learn). I also have knowledge in C/C++. I can adapt to the requirements of the project, if need be. In terms of communication (which is essential in the reporting of the works), I'm rigorous in that part, having written my thesis. I also practice this aspect in my daily job as a lecturer. We can definitely chat further on this matter, should you agree with my bid.
