Mill Lining Report

Hi thank you for taking the time to read this, We are inquiring about the possibility of creating a new Mill Inspection Report Template for our mill lining division. We are currently using the excel spreadsheet attached which our service team uses to inspect a mill liner, populate the graphs and provide our costumers with a report based on the findings. The current report is working well but we are transferring over to 3D scanning technology instead of manual inspections. The current report set up has graphs which are populated by a pin measurements(See photo attached as to how the measurements are currently taken). The new set up we will use a 3D scanner which will give us measurements from a base upwards(See photo 3D scan results). What are we looking for? 1. Print Page - 8x shell inspection graphs currently there are 4, feed head and discharge head graphs. We might change the layout a little bit to have lifter bar, shell plate, photo & comment on the side. The photo page can be removed Operational data we will need to keep this section Charge height can be removed for this report 2. Initial installation - in this section the graphs/original profile's are plotted we will keep the bones of this section 3. Max wear - max wear is to were the lifter bar or plate is calculated to zero percent. In this section we will require 10 measurements points which will be populated by scanned data. for example a measurement of 50mm will plot 50mm on the graph we will need 8 shell lifter & 8 shell plate measurements sections. Shell plates currently has 4 measurement cells can we increase this to 10 Inspection 1-3 - so normally we do inspections every 3 months, each inspection measurements plots a profile on the lifter bar and plates. The percentage remaining is based to the max wear profile. on the right hand side you will see run hours since install and tonnes milled. The client provides us with this information which when populated calculates from the installation date to the inspection, how much loss per tonne on the lining and provides us a estimated date on when the liner will reach zero percent remaining. To the right of that there is a safety factor percentage which allows us to adjust the predicted end of life. The changes required in this section are add 4 new sections for the lifter bars and plates, change how the graphs are populated with scan data, shell plates having 10x measurement cells. Currently there are 1-3 inspection tabs can we make an extra page 1-4 inspections Laser data - so previously we had a 2D scanner and used to populate this section with data. in the last 3-4 years we stopped using the 2D scanner so this section can be removed/obsolete Calculations & graphs - obviously we will need this section on for the background calculations Revision control - we will create a new revision control Thanks for your time
