I have a set of search strings that I wish to run through Google every week. I'd like to have a script developed that will read the string, submit it to Google, capture the first 50 results and store them in a spreadsheet. I'm open to how this is done, but my limited research suggests Python might be the right way. There are currently 30 strings I wish to search on, although it should be possible to expand this list. A month and year should be appended to each string, which would change every month. The script should be able to time the submission of queries so that Google does not block the IP.

You will also be able to extend your list of queries and I'll be sure to make sure the sending IP will not be blocked.
