Hello, I'm brand new to Freelancer (as of 10 minutes ago), but I have been developing in FileMaker Pro 12 for the past two years out of necessity for my day job as a college administrator with a limited IT budget. I really think that your project (which sounds more like numerous projects) and my experience are a good fit. Two years ago I was promoted to Assistant Director of Residence Life at a small liberal arts college, which made me primarily responsible for all aspects of housing occupancy management. Previously, we had used paper and Excel and numerous unconnected lists in an archaic and labor-intensive system. I bought five copies of FileMaker Pro 12 for our office in May 2012 and began learning and creating. By August 2012 I'd developed a functional FileMaker solution from scratch and trained our staff on it. The system I created still does things that no one thought possible when I started. I have an MA in Educational Leadership but since I started the FM project I've been interested in pursuing the possibility of a career change. I'd love to have the opportunity to work with a real developer and make regular contributions. I now use FileMaker Pro Advanced on my MacBook and am very familiar with all aspects of FileMaker database design and implementation, from writing and debugging calculations and scripts to managing relationships and writing SQL statements. I am dying for a chance to make use of these skills and get the experience developing.

Hi, I have been working as Filemaker Developer for 3 years, I developed some Filemaker projects with functions as: manage staff working hours, making human resource plan, assign task to staff, making report, invoice for customer per month. Beside that, I created the project that interacted between Filemaker and Mailchimp as well as create template report, phrase library for a construction company to hep the engineers export dynamic report from Filemaker to PDF. Hi David I am an Experienced FileMaker Developer, I started with version one, using databases to assist me in my job, and eventually, a couple of jobs down the line, I started taking on projects for other people. Notable projects - A reservation system for a restaurant, it ran on their office Mac and as well as direct data entry whilst on the telephone to customers, I also wrote some mail rules and associated Applescripts that dumped reservations directly into the database and flagged the for confirmation. It also had iPad specific layouts, so that the Maitr'D could access it whilst seating and walking the floor. Stock control and Pricing database. Again for a restaurant operation, it had separate purchase, stock take, ordering and costing modules. My speciality is making Filemaker play nice with other programs via AppleScript. Plus as a through and through Brit, the only English issues you are gong to have is with how I spell colour. Regards Chris

I have worked many years as a FileMaker Developer, first as a junior developer at CoreSolutions Development, Inc. around 1998 and 1999 and later, maintaining a FileMaker solution at Zucora, Inc., which had three or four tables with approximately two to three million rows in them and hundreds of fields between them for the last six years. As I am currently between jobs, I find that this would be a great opportunity to keep my FileMaker skills up to date and refine them a bit more. I also have some experience with doing custom programming with PHP and FileMaker, though I have not done that as much as I have FileMaker worked in general. I am also able to put many hours in a day to this project, I could work up to between 50 to 60 hours a week, if and when necessary.

What you describe is what I basically do right now for one of the biggest FileMaker companies in the UK, Computech IT Services. They have a solution called BusinessMan which is a comprehensive ERP/CRM solution that can run nearly any business. I personally was lead developer in revamping their entire inventory and warehouse modules. Most of their client base is in the US, so time difference isn't really an issue, I'm a bit of a night owl as it is. I was also lead developer on several International Film Festival databases (i.e. Edinburgh & Adelaide), all running on FileMaker 9-11. I do run my own FileMaker business and have several small projects/concepts that I'm working on and have produced. The most popular being the FileMaker WYSIWYG which allows a user to generate html code from a web viewer. I'm also a certified developer in 11 and 12, soon to be 13 once the test has been made available. Thanks for taking the time to consider my proposal.

Previously I was employed as a Solutions Consultant for FileMaker Inc. based in Sydney Australia, providing Technical Assistance to the APAC Region. Dear Mr. Thorp, My Name is Allen Case and I am a natural citizen of the US whose native language is English. I have worked with FileMaker since 2002. I have developed in versions 4-13. I own FMP (v9) and FMA (v7, v10. v11, and v12). I have been an active member of my local FM developers group for many years. I have worked on many large databases. For example the Dawnbraker Outreach database had 43 tables, 277 layouts, 455+ scripts, 164 value lists, and 270+ relationships. The fields, field names, relationships, and form layouts were kept even after they moved the system to PHP and MySQL. While at The Support Group the telecom client had 63 tables, 362 layouts, 384 scripts, 211 value lists, 381 relationships, 22 custom functions, and used xml to send data both ways to a central data center in Germany. I have a MacMini all setup to do consulting work. It has FileMaker, Dreamweaver, Eclipse (for Java and Android), Xcode (MacOS and iOS development), and Parallels to run both Windows and MS Office. I can record and edit both audio and video. As a consultant I was good at interpreting others requirements and understanding their code. For the telecom client I had to to work with several other developers for nearly 2 years. I take pride in my work and I am available TODAY.
