We have a spreadsheet of information we need printed on a 5.5 inch wide ticket x 2 inch high. It looks like this..see picture of ticket on right side [login to view URL] The ticket feeds through a special printer that works like any other printer but only prints tickets. No unique printer language. We have a Google Docs spreadsheet that we need to print following items are in each column Show Name Show Date Show Time Section Row Seat We need a script that will send data to printer and print tickets. This kind of like mail merge in that each ticket is unique.

I have over 100 reviews on freelancer so please do consider the bid. Some questions : By this what I guess is that you will need to insert the data from the spreadsheet into a given pdf/jpeg containing the existing ticket and then send that to the printer for printing. Is this correct? I suppose the script should also keep track of the last printed row so as to not print the same row twice?

Hello, There is no direct way for printing document produced by Google Apps Script to your local printer, as the docs are located on the server. What you can do is by converting the doc to the pdf on server, and pass the document URL to Google Cloud Print (GCP) Web Element. Using this method you would be able to provide the service for either desktop or mobile browser. So, let me know if this method acceptable. Regards, Josh

I am a graduate from the University of Chicago with a bachelors in Economics. I am a self-taught programmer that programs daily. I have experience in Google Apps Script such as controlling documents, spreadsheets, forms, and even the User Interface App. I have a Google Apps code in my profile if you would like to see an example. This code takes spreadsheet questions, with choices and answers, and creates them into individual forms for students to take as a quiz.
