move Java search-engine website to a new Linux server (847017)

A Java & server management expert needed to move our Java/Lucene search-engine website from Linux FEDORA CORE 2/4 to Linux Fedora core 7 due to GoDaddy's server upgrade. We have a search application/website running on a dedicated server hosted at GoDaddy. GoDaddy is requiring a mandatory OS upgrade on their servers,and we need to more our app to the latest such OS. The current OS is Linux Fedora core 2/4 which GoDaddy will upgrade to Fedora core 7. GoDaddy will take care of the OS upgrade. We will have GoDaddy provision a new "clean" server with the new OS, and this project is to move our application there and then switch all the domain pointers to this new server. The website/application itself is all Java, Lucene-based, and MySQL. Strong Java,MySQL , and Linux server management skills are a must. Familiarity with Lucene is highly desired, although not mandatory. Bidders please indicate relevant experience. END ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4.) All information and software code trasmitted during this project is considered buyer's Confidential information.
