Publicist wanted to spread the word about upcoming book (March 2018)

I'm looking for someone with experience in the areas of public relations, press management, brand development, and marketing to help gain coverage for a literary fiction novella being indie published in March 2018. Tasks include: + Executing creative communications strategy and campaigns to begin and maintain coverage of the book + Identifying appropriate markets, developing targeted outreach lists (including bloggers/reviewers), and preparing and disseminating creative pitches to TV, radio, social media (e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Goodreads, Instagram), etc. + Identifying and securing local and national appearances, media, book signings, and other brand opportunities + Writing press releases and assisting in creating and procuring press kits and articles + Maintaining records of outreach/placements and conducting follow up with individuals as needed The ideal candidate has: + A proven record of planning and executing publicity campaigns across a wide range of media platforms + Excellent written and communications skills with the ability to draft press releases and brand materials + Strong organizational and project management skills + A strong business and work ethic and the ability to work independently When responding, please respond to the following: + What experience, if any, do you have working with authors (either traditionally- or self-published)? + Of the public relations/marketing campaigns you've worked on, what's been your favorite and/or most successful?
