We need a very simple Android App developed using Xamarin & MonoDroid (C#) The stand-alone App needs to do the following: 1. A single button that launches the native camera 2. Allows the user to take a picture of a purchase/store receipt 3. the resulting image data, compress the image so that it is no larger than 1200x800 in size and also under 1.5 MB in size 4. The image should always be transmitted in portrait mode 5. Send the image data (byte array) to our servers through our authenticated web service (details to be provided later) 6. MOST IMPORTANT: The app should work on all support versions of Android and devices out there (in the US and Canadian markets at least) 7. The app will be tested thoroughly on the various devices/versions and the developer will be paid only after the image capture works perfectly 8. The uploaded images can be reviewed at [login to view URL] (we will provide the authentication credentials once the freelancer is selected)
