We are looking for an iOS developer who can help us customize and complete our live streaming App. We created a prototype with Haishinkit and VLCkit for RTMP encoder and player. Our RTMP server runs on Ngix with rtmp module in EC2. The encoder sends live image to the Nginx and the player just playback the RTMP live streaming. We don't use HLS because we expect 2-3 seconds latency. The encoder Haishinkit is working just fine, but we need to customize the player side with the following point. The RTMP player needs to automatically start playing without the user clicking a Play button. It means somehow the RTMP server needs to send a signal to the App as soon as it receives rtmp ingress from the encoder. In addition, the response time is critical. It should start playing within 3-5 seconds once the encoder starts streaming and that includes the player's loading time. *We tried Observable and PublishSubject in RxSwift, but somehow the player fails to load because of the timing issues. The App also has a home screen where the user creates a new topic and topics are listed by the number of viewers and creaed date/time. Topics are used as Streamkeys in RTMP server.
