I have a nodejs code which gets messages from an specific irc channel, can you implement that and see if its how it has to be. Or if you have done before and you want to use your own code is ok. The function I want is: connect to irc channel, get in real time the messages from that chanel and storing in database

I have a ready solution in hand for this, can easily change the existing application to work with any database of your choice, written in pure Node.js and currently using mysql as database but can also use other databases such as MongoDB etc etc.
