Customized Upload Script for PhotoCarton.com

I already have an upload script in place for [login to view URL] which works fine. However, I would like to create an upload script that does not require flash or silverlight to upload multiple files at once. The uploader must be able to upload directly to Amazon S3, yet retrieve vital file information such as file size, name, location on S3 (file URL), etc, for mysql insert via php or an API call of some sort after upload is complete. Must be compatable with all browser OR can be a small App for Mac & Windows computers. I want to make things simpler for the users and not have to worry about browser support. Currently all browsers are supported, accept Chrome. Chrome can only add single files at a time. This is not a must need job, just want options and I'll decide from there.
