Synopsis The website will be a web-based program that helps coaches of amateur sports communicate with players and that allows teams and leagues to display match results and statistics. The program designed for teams will be sold to individual teams, such as high school, club, college, and recreational teams. The coaches or team managers will have administrative control of the team's program. They will use the program as an organizational and communicational tool to better run the team. The team program will connect all teams in a league via the league program. And all leagues will be connected to the XXX Sports Community. 7.1 Team Program : The program will provide coaches/managers with the following tools: 7.1.1. A description of the school/team/club as inputted by the team manager; 7.1.2. The location and directions/map of the facility where matches are played 7.1.3. A calendar on which the manager posts events (such as matches/games, practices, fundraisers, etc.), assignments, announcements, and goals 7.1.4. A tool that allows players (individual users) to post comments on assignments and announcements posted by the coach (if the coach so chooses) 7.1.5. A roster in which the manager maintains information on players, coaches, and other team members. 7.1.6. A digital filing cabinet in which the manager keeps both private and public documents. 7.1.7 The public documents may be accessed and downloaded by players, coaches, and other team members 7.1.8. A statistics database with which the manager maintains statistics (the program will need to calculate percentages and will need to add newly input statistics to the cumulative statistics) 7.1.9. When a team manager personalizes, or sets up, the team program, he/she identifies the league to which the team belongs. This causes the team to be linked to that league so that certain data stored in the team program is displayed on the league page/site. 7.2.2. The league page/site displays the following pages/information: a) A description of the league inputted by the coaches . b) A team page for each team. c) This page contains the team's roster, statistics, and match schedule; a description of the school/team/club as inputted by the team manager; and the location and directions/map of the facility where matches are played (this comes directly from the team program) . 7.2.3. Displays of statistical leaders in various categories . 7.2.4. A calendar and list of matches. 7.2.5. The team standings, which lists the teams in order according to wins/losses . The program needs an online payment function so that coaches who purchase the program can pay online. 9.
