I need a program that will work in a Windows environment and will download free data from Yahoo for stocks, mutual funds, currency pairs, and market neutral funds on a daily basis.
I want the program to be able to use any one stock, fund, or currency pair as a baseline indicator against any or all other stocks, funds, currency pairs, etc. Fore instance, I pick Ford (F) as the baseline indicator and compare it to GOOG. I want GOOG's price to be the main focus, but I want F's price to be relative to GOOG's, much like a moving average would be.
After I select a stock, fund, or pair as a baseline indicator, I want the program to scan, list, and identify all stocks, funds, and commodities that fall into a range of being within two percent of crossing the baseline indicator and crossing and closing above or below it. I would also like the option to analyze the market for crosses on daily, 3-day, and weekly time frames.
