The Idea is to make a website for short film makers to post their videos and add people to the film as co workers (cast). The video could be uploaded to any video hosting sites like youtube or vimeo and they will be asked to give a link to embed the video. The user who adds the video will have to pick a role (such as actor, director, camera man) for him/her this will add a role specific image (badge) to his profile. Any other valid user tagged as a maker of a film will also get a public badge in his/her profile. Every user should have a public profile (much like facebook) where he will add his interests in film making along with a means for other to send him a message in case like minded people decide to communicate. This profile will also showcase all the movies that he has made so far and other movies that he has worked in. Users should be able to create account with email or other social networks. If they choose to log in with facebook then all personal details (including profile pic) should be pulled from there saving the user a lot time. The website can most preferably be on a CMS like wordpress using genissis framework. Please quote your price range.
