Experienced back end Developer Needed. We have a heavily customized WordPress website that's already functional and operating and need to develop new functions. Required skill set for the job consist of : • Must have excellent communications and organizational skills. • Must have 5+ years of website development and design experience with a strong background in Wordpress back end programming, PHP/MYSQL development • Must be strong with PHP and Wordpress Responsive Themes • Solid experience with HTML5 and CSS3, MYSQL, jQuary, JavaScript • Working knowledge of visual design tools ( Photoshop ) • Knowledge and experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, etc.) • Adaptable, honest and detail oriented, dependable and responsible. • Professional and able to work with minimal supervision. • Exhibits sense of urgency, shows initiative, and takes an enthusiastic proactive approach to work and problem solving. • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities. • Working knowledge of web application life cycle development methodologies, deployment practices, version control, and testing. • The source is Git controlled, so you must be comfortable with using git.
