Small Programming Job To Find Long Term Programming/Support-Existing Web App.

**IMPORTANT: Please read this full description before bidding.** This bid is for a single small feature to be programmed. We are using this as a paid test to find a long term programmer/support person/company 50-80 hours/month. Keep reading for more information. The feature that needs to be programmed will create an alternate URL for a web based CMS (Content Management System). Currently it takes you directly to the new link. Program so the webmaster can choose whether the alternate link will open a new window or not. You will have to add a new field in the database, in a table to hold that info for each section; make it available for edit on the add/edit web page and save it, and then change links to sections throughout the site to behave according to webmaster's decision. New coding must be tested & include comments/documentaion. We are using this to find a long term programmer/support company for our application. We currently need approx 50-80 hours/month. This could grow to full time in the future as we continue to grow. This would include fixing occasional bugs, programming new features, help with installations, custom programming for individual customers and other tech support help. Most inquiries would come from within our company by email/ICQ but could occasionally come directly from customer if we forward the problem directly to you or if a customer needs direct help. REQUIREMENTS: At least 2 years experience which includes complex projects- (over 50 scripts and database tables per project) PHP-advanced Mysql-advanced HTML-intermediate to advanced Java Scripting-intermediate ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
