Our business is growing fast, and we are now on the look out for a designer to help us develop a concept and theme for our exciting, and market leading Penny Auction Software. The demo is available at: [login to view URL] You are bidding on the concept, slice and CakePHP theme. Please only bid if you have experience with Cake PHP, or can demonstrate that you have the skill set to learn while working. Hi, I am from Toronto, I have built and operated a Penny Auction website before. You need a qualified person who understand server architecture and the application in order to scale the website so that it can operate under heavy traffic. Most of the people on Freelancer only build small web application that are normally ecommerce web sites which are very easy to build. Your website will crash with 50 users using it simultaneously if you get these people to build it. When you are dealing with a penny auction website that has many real time actions to it. The website behaves differently when it starts to get 50 users or 500 users and the programmer needs to understand that. So either you pay once at get a well coded penny auction app or you get some one else to do it and they will build you something very crappy that will crash every time. Please let me know, I can provide you my information when you give me a confirmation. thanks
