The web portal project will need to allow employees to: Register for an online account Add/Edit/View their work schedule Import multiple schedules from excel Allow employees at the same company, and rule based - location, department, position to: 1) Post, pickup and give away or trade their full or partial shift with comments for all employees to see or private individuals, or private friends to see. Verify that the posting does not overlap more than allowed or violate shift trade rules set up by admin. 2) Browse on a calendar what shifts other employees want to trade or give away. 3) Automatically match shifts with employees between employees based on admin defined work rules and notify parties via SMS and email depending on their communication preference. 4) Allow for 3-Way trades – Shift for one employee is covered by 2 or more employees.
