Add additional option for subscription/recurring payments for paypal checkout

I am currently using a wordpress theme that has a gateway for paypal. However it only offers once off manual payments at checkout for paypal. I want an additional button that offers subscription/recurring payments every 30 days for the max numbers of months that paypal allows. It also needs to tick it off as paid and keep the advert live for the theme when it automaticly comes out each month if the subscription paypal option was selected when they first went through checkout. Should be very basic for anyone with php and paypal api knowledge.
