Project Description: We are seeking a talented web application developer to create a dynamic and customizable job pricing calculator. The ideal candidate will build a web-based solution that automatically divides a user-defined total cost—representing 100% of a project's budget—across various predefined categories, including labor, materials, equipment, overhead, and more, based on customizable percentage allocations. Key Features: Customizable Interface: Users should be able to adjust the percentage values for each cost category and include tax calculations. Automatic Calculations: Upon input of the total desired cost, the application should automatically calculate and allocate amounts to each category. Real-Time Updates: As users modify any data point, the application must recalculate and refresh values instantly. Data Field Locking: Provide functionality for users to lock specific fields to prevent unintended changes. PDF Export and Sharing: The application must have the functionality to export the calculated job pricing as a PDF and have options to share it via email or other preferred methods. Required Skills and Technologies: Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for crafting user interfaces. Experience with reactive JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js. Backend expertise, preferably with Node.js and Express, to manage application state and logic. Database management skills if data persistence is required.
