Hi, I've recently done a Movie Poster App for Rpi 4, we have added a web interface to access/control the app remotely such as: Screen Orientation, Zoom In/Out, Previous/Next, Play/Pause, files uploads groups creation, even you can set the selected groups to View. The app is totally configurable form a remote computer/mobile so that you don't need direct input/interaction with Pi to modify the default settings, like fade in/out, show ip, show date, transition time. for the WiFi connection the we have an Android App, the exposes a Bluetooth connection and makes the Android app to configure a WiFi connection for Pi.
