I currently have various pdfs created with a program called Advent APX Packager. This program has a SQL Server architecture. I now have a situation where I need to selectively add page numbers to several pdfs which are output by the software to a folder. The individual pdfs you see below will all be merged into a single 19 page pdf. Alternatively the software can output the file as a combined file, however regardless of the files being individual or concatenated, ultimately all files will be combined into one. I would also like to automate the naming of the combined ile which could be based on text within the file name ie [login to view URL] [login to view URL] might be called [login to view URL] In the screenshot you can see that I have a cover page, a separator page, a report, a separator page, and a second report. 5 separate pdfs (note the separator pages are not identical, each is unique and must be in the order shown) These pdfs all will be combined into 1 file. Once merged there will be a total of 19 pages. The page numbers must be sequential, but page numbers do not appear on every page, cover and separator pages need to be excluded. Thus in the example below. -The first pdf: [login to view URL] will not have a page number -The second pdf: [login to view URL] will not have a page number -The third pdf: [login to view URL] will have page numbers, starting at page 3-10 -The fourth pdf: [login to view URL] will not have a page number -The fifth pdf: [login to view URL] will have page numbers, starting at page 12 - 19 I would like an application developed with a graphical user interface where users can easily drag and drop files, add the appropriate page numbers, then export as a single pdf. I have complete control over the naming of the files and could see potential to have the program potentially exclude files based on its name for example if the file has the word cover or separator contained in the name. The page numbers will always be Times New Roman 10pt and centered at the bottom of the page.

Hi There, Based on your requirement, i have a strong feeling that i could be the best fit for your pdf combining & merging project, for the following facts: Done a application in asp.net that communicate with the Database server and obtain the required templates in order to create PDF’s of the calibrations, these will be names as above and once ready the default email client will open and these PDF’s will be attached to a blank email, so the user may send them. It is not intended to store all Calibration Data Sheets as PDF’s but to create them ‘On the Fly’ to reduce disk space. I can share you the source code to you for review the app flow & their functionality.. Thanks
